With how the cycle went this week, you might think that the New Orleans and Atlanta are the only two teams playing. However, there are a few games going on that could have big implications for the Saints. At 7-2, the Saints have a lot of control over where they end up in the NFC, but a few dominoes have to fall for them to get home field advantage (whatever that means) in the playoffs this season.

Here’s a look at your Week 11 rooting guide for the .

Early games

(4-5) vs. (3-7)

Yes, the are pretty much out as a threat in the South, but there’s nothing wrong with rooting for a rival to trail by a little bit more. Root for the to get to .500, just to keep extending the cushion.

Evening games

(7-2) vs. (6-3)

Needless to say, this game the Saints need to be all in on the . If the Saints take care of business (IF), they have the opportunity to be No. 1 in the NFC. It cannot be overstated how big this game is, and Saints fans should be watching this one as closely as Saints vs. .

Primetime

(6-3) vs. (7-3)

Obviously the instinct is to root for the , and that instinct would be correct. HOWEVER, to play Devil’s Advocate, this game is kind of a win-win for the Saints because if things did go sideways this season, the NFC West is easily the most dangerous in terms of wild card contention along with the South. With that being said, root for the Rams, and hope that this game lives up to its billing.
